Please note that the auctions will take place entirely online in the form of a timed auction. You must register online before arriving on site to inspect the lots.

To complete registration, a deposit of $1,000 (refundable, payable by credit card) is required.

Pre-authorizations must be completed in person during the inspection days. For participants from out of town, it will be possible to complete the process by phone under certain conditions by calling 514-334-7727 on Monday, September 14 (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) and September 15 (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)

No bidder may participate in the auction without having first made a deposit.

• When the lot closes, 20 seconds will be added to each bid placed in the last 15 seconds

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Anyone wishing to register must read and accept the auction terms and conditions.
2. Registration is available online only and is required prior to viewing and inspecting the vehicles.
3. A $1,000 deposit (refundable, payable by credit card) must be made on-site during lot inspection days, or by phone under certain conditions. This deposit may be retained as a penalty for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the contract or upon cancellation of the contract.
4. Lot inspections are available on the days leading up to the end of the auction, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A maximum number of people will be allowed on the premises; expect wait times.
5. Only one accompanying person per bidder will be permitted.
6. Loitering will not be tolerated.
7. The CAG provides the information it has for each lot in good faith. The photographs and information provided are for illustrative purposes only and do not guarantee the condition of the items.
8. The Auctioneer shall not be held liable for any omission or incomplete inspection of the lot by the bidder.
9. All lots or items sold by the auctioneer make the sale final, definitive, and irrevocable.
10. Lots are sold “as is,” without warranty, and at the buyer’s own risk.
11. Each lot becomes the responsibility of the new owner as soon as the auctioneer announces that a lot has been sold.
12. All sales are subject to the 5% federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the 9.975% Quebec sales tax (QST).
13. Bidders who win an auction must pay an administrative fee of 10% (excluding taxes) on each lot.
14. Lots must be paid for in full and picked up within three (3) days after the auction ends. An additional storage fee of $50 (taxable) per item per day of delay may be charged to late pickups as a penalty.
15. When picking up the vehicles, the winning bidder must go inside to collect their documents and pay, if applicable.
16. It is prohibited to resell the items before the winning bidder has taken possession of the lot and/or at the auction venue.
17. Mechanical work is not permitted on the auction grounds.
18. To learn about the procedures for putting a vehicle purchased at auction back on the road under the various statuses, the purchaser may visit the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec website at www.saaq.gouv.qc.ca.
19. The terms set forth above do not constitute the full terms and conditions of the auction. You will find the complete terms and conditions on the following pages.
20. For any online purchase, the CAG assumes no liability for any Internet connection interruptions, audio outages, delays in auction broadcast, or errors made by the bidder, regardless of the device used.

In the event of a dispute related to the auction, the auctioneer has the final say.

Once the auction is over, the CAG will email you an invoice. This invoice is final and will confirm the lots you were awarded.
